The Pro Life Office affirms that human life is a gift from God to be protected from the moment of conception until natural death. The programs and activities of the Pro Life Office are guided by the U.S. Bishops 2001 document entitled Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities: A Campaign in Support of Life and focuses on the following areas: Education, Pastoral Care, Public Policy, and Prayer and Worship.
