In November of 2009, most of the Catholic Charities’ programs and services were relocated to a new 72,000 square foot campus at 2450 North Harvard Avenue. The campus includes a beautiful Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, and seven buildings. The Mission of Hope: Changing Lives With Love fundraising campaign brought more than $19 million from 4,000 individuals and families to build and furnish the facilities. The California Mission style of architecture is simple yet durable; built to serve people for many years to come.
The mission of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Tulsa is to bring Christ’s love to those who suffer in our midst. Approximately 50,000 people are assisted each year by the services of Catholic Charities’ 14 programs. Most services are offered at no cost or on a sliding fee schedule. Assistance is provided without regard for race, color, or creed; approximately 85% of those served are not of the Catholic faith. The Catholic Charities’ staff and more than 1,650 volunteers carry out the mission. Catholic Charities is not a United Way agency and receives limited federal funds; the majority of funding for operations is provided by individuals and charitable organizations.
