National/Regional Conferences

The National Catholic Youth Conference is held in odd years at various sites in the United States to include more than 15,000 high school youth. Previous conferences have included Columbus, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; St. Louis, Missouri; and Indianapolis, Indiana. Region X Youth Conference includes more than 1,500 high school students from the dioceses of Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas. Following the format of the National Catholic Youth Conference.

NCYC and Region X conferences include national speakers, music, liturgy, and community for both youth and chaperone participants. Diocesan travel arrangements for the meetings are distributed annually in the spring.

The Region X Youth Conference will be November 14-16, 2010, Little Rock, Arkansas. “Ignite Your Heart, Work for Justice, Transform the World” will include hands-on social justice activities, a pro-life rally, in addition to general sessions. Registration information will be available in late-April 2010.

NCYC will be hosted by the Archdiocese of Indianapolis on November 17-19, 2011, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The theme for this conference is “Called to Glory.”
