The 13 Catholic schools in our Diocese enroll approximately 5,000 students every year and are blessed and thankful for the many dedicated professionals who staff the schools.
We are committed to curriculum and instruction designed to meet not only the present, immediate needs of students, but also to prepare students to be just and prayerful adult Christian leaders of the future. Our schools create at atmosphere of faith, hope, and prayer where teachers and students alike can discuss and nurture the image of God in one another.
We are especially blessed in this Diocese to have the support of Bishop Edward J. Slattery and many individuals who have made a strong commitment to Catholic education and its mission of teaching the message of Jesus Christ. Because of the dedication of so many, the Diocese created and continues to fund the Saint Francis of Assisi Tuition Assistance Trust in an effort to give more families access to a Catholic school education. The endowment provides need-based tuition assistance to students in both the elementary and secondary schools of the Diocese every year. Since its inception in 1999, over $1 million has been allocated.
Our office is here to serve all of those involved in the ministry of Catholic education. To learn more about the Office Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Tulsa, please call (918) 582-9177 or email us at catholicschools.office@dioceseoftulsa.org.
