National Girl Scouts Religious Awards
The National Catholic Committee for Girl Scouts and Camp Fire (NCCGSCF) offers national religious award programs for youth from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The programs are for members of Girl Scouts, Camp Fire, and any other organizations that wish to utilize NCCGSCF programs to enrich the Catholic faith of their youth participants.
Program award booklets can be purchased through the Girl Scouts at the store located in the Hardesty Leadership Center in Tulsa or through the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry online store. -

Religious Recognition ProgramsGOD IS LOVEThe God Is Love program is designed for use with students who are in kindergarten or first grade. The program helps students discover an appreciation that God created, cares for, and loves us all.Family of God is the official religious recognition program of the Roman Catholic Church for children in grades 2-4 who are enrolled in the Girl Scouts, Camp Fire, and other Catholic youth organizations. Family of God is a bilingual activity series developed to help children discover the presence of God in their daily lives as members of their family and parish.The I Live My Faith program is designed to help youth, grades 4-7, appreciate more deeply the place that God and religion occupy in their daily lives. The program is structured on the Catechism of the Catholic Church with the themes of: Belief, Sacraments, Catholic Christian Living, and PrayerMARY THE FIRST DISCIPLE, THE MARIAN MEDALThe Marian Medal program is written for young Catholics, grades 7-10, to enable them to "proclaim the greatness of the Lord." This is accomplished by actively involving the participants in an understanding of Mary as a model of openness and spirituality—a woman of the church.THE SPIRIT ALIVEThis program is designed for Catholic youth in high school. It assists them in discovering how theHoly Spirit moves in their lives, calling them to greater participation in the church's ministry.MISSIOMissio is designed for students in grades 11-12. The program invites young people to explore discipleship and their own religious identity. Missio was jointly created by the Pontifical Mission Society in the United States and NFCYM.

NCCGSCF Patch ProgramsWOMEN IN SCRIPTUREThe Women in Scripture series focus on individuals who lived lives of courage and faithfulness. These women often fanned the flame of faith in their families and communities and were the backbone of the church and faith since the very beginning of Jesus’ ministry. Learn more about these great Models of Faith.OUR LADY OF GUADALUPEThe National Catholic Committee for Girl Scouts and Camp Fire, a constitutive member of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, invites youth in grades K-12 to learn more about the appearance and miracles of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico almost 500 years ago. Youth will also learn about Our Lady's powerful meaning to people of Mexican heritage and about her love and compassion for the whole world.OUR LADY OF FATIMAIn honor of the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima, the NCCGSCF presents this patch to help youth learn more about this amazing event!CATHOLIC CHURCH AND THE GSUSA PATCHThis patch helps girls celebrate the relationship between the Catholic Church and Girl Scouting by encouraging them to explore the rich traditions of the Catholic faith and inspiring them to become stronger members of their Catholic community. There are no requirements for this patch.
