The Jubilee Year in our Diocese
The opening of the Jubilee Year of Hope for the Universal Church will take place on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024.
The opening of the Jubilee Year of Hope for each Diocese will take place on the Solemnity of the Holy Family, December 29, 2024.At 2 pm December 29, 2024, there will be a small procession from Chapman Centennial Greens to Holy Family Cathedral, where Bishop Konderla will read the Jubilee Proclamation. The opening of the Jubilee Mass will commence approximately ten minutes after the conclusion of the procession.
Please plan to park at Holy Family Cathedral and walk the few blocks to the Centennial Greens to be part of the short procession.Twelve (12) pilgrim sites have been chosen for the faithful to travel around the Diocese throughout the year to pray and strive for a greater integration of the theological virtue of Hope in their lives.
Each of these selected parishes will host a First Saturday Mass at 10 am with Bishop Konderla or the Vicar General as celebrant and homilist at each location.
