Sing Praise

HOW IT STARTED?

Sing Praise was initially created to get the youth throughout the diocese exposure to adoration where adoration was not easily available in their respective home parishes. Now that many parishes within our diocese have grown to be able to make adoration available in their parishes in some way or another, the goal of Sing Praise has been somewhat met in some of our parishes. 

HOW IT HAS CHANGED?

We are going to take more of a family approach. This means that the talks given at Sing Praise will be able meet the needs of the entire family. This will hopefully help all families within our diocese experience a beautiful tradition of the church together. For those parishes that are choosing to do family catechesis, Sing Praise in this format supports that model of catechesis well.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE? 

Our goal is that in spending time being held by the Lord together in adoration, your family will grow in faith together.

HOW OFTEN WILL SING PRAISE BE OFFERED?

Sing Praise will be offered to be hosted at parishes 4 times throughout the school year. 

HOW DO I ATTEND?

Simply choose a host location to join, and let them know approximately how many participants you plan to bring or contact the Youth Office at 918.307-4907 or email at:  [email protected]. Space is EXTREMELY limited! 

HOW DO WE BECOME A HOST PARISH?

We are taking requests to host, for all dates, throughout the year. In order that we can best serve all of the parishes within the Diocese, if you request multiple weeks then your number 1 date will be picked and you will be put on a waiting list for all the other dates.
